Over the years, NatureUganda has strengthened the research and monitoring programme to generate information for designing and implementing informed interventions, including policy advocacy. This programme is implemented through strategic partnerships with research institutions and other organisations.

Research and monitoring focuses on species, sites and habitants, including socio-economic studies. These activities are implemented as stand-alone projects and/or as components of the conservation and development programme.

• Bi-annual Waterfowl Counts
