At NatureUganda, creating awareness and advocacy are at the heart of our conservation efforts. We work closely with communities, schools, local leaders, and other stakeholders to promote a deeper understanding of the value of Uganda’s rich biodiversity, with a particular focus on priority species and critical habitats such as wetlands, forests, and Important Bird Areas. Through community dialogues, school outreach programs, field excursions, and targeted campaigns, we empower people with knowledge and practical skills to become active stewards of their environment. By fostering positive attitudes and inspiring collective action, we aim to reduce threats to wildlife and habitats while building a strong, informed public that supports and champions long-term conservation initiatives.
